New Ways to Participate
Wine and Squash The first in a series of Just Think Salons was held on November 11th at the vineyard home of Eileen and Michael Chiarello. Michael, a three-time Emmy Award winner, was the executive chef of Tra Vigne for 20 years and founder of Napa Style; Eileen, formerly of Apple Inc., is a Just Think volunteer. Following a tour of the old vines and a discussion about sustainable agriculture and green living, our group of media tastemakers indulged in media analysis, tasted delectable creations, and savored the concept of “sustainable media” round table style. Just Think Salon format will continue, with a new venue and theme for each meeting. Email us with your thoughts on sustainable media for a sustainable world, or with future salon topic suggestions. We will post your messages with our next e-news.

Press
The word is out about MEAL. The National Middle School Principal of the Year, Jim Dierke states, “A decade ago we were promised by our leaders that we would teach with 21st century tools. It was not until our partnership with Just Think that those tools turned into practices. Just Think provided the key to adapt the way we teach our students to learn.”
