Youth Media Educators 2008
Youth Media Educators (YME) 2008 is more robust than ever. Just Think expands the scope of this year’s program to officially extend throughout the year. As a youth intern you will receive $1500 to learn media production, media literacy education, peer teaching and entrepreneurial skills during the Summer and then implement your learning during the 08/09 year.
YME ’07 will take place July 7th through August 15th, 2008. It is open to any Bay-Area student, if you qualify as low income (or under other hardship) and will be entering 9th through 12th grades during the 2008/09 school year. Travel stipends make it easier for any one from outlying areas to apply.
Applications are now available. The extended deadline is May 23, 2008. Interviews for the program will take place during the end of May and beginning of June, with a final selection at the end of June.
