Based on the award-winning film Poetic License, this standards-based curriculum packet gives educators the tools they need to engage their students in the exciting world of spoken word poetry.
The film captures dynamic young writers as they perform their work and discuss their poetic influences and inspirations. The rest of the packet is designed to follow in the film’s wake and allow youth to take their writing to the next level.
