Vision

Just Think envisions a world of critically and creatively engaged young people who influence media more than media influence them, a world where being literate includes being media literate.

YME 2008 Summer Work

Prepare the Scene
After so much hard work and dedication, 13 Bay Area high school students competed three very different and original media projects. Now that everyone is back in school they will be using their own and others’ media to spread media literacy and critical thinking to their peers.

Youth Media Educators 2008

YME 2005 camera workshopYouth Media Educators (YME) 2008 is more robust than ever. Just Think expands the scope of this year’s program to officially extend throughout the year. As a youth intern you will receive $1500 to learn media production, media literacy education, peer teaching and entrepreneurial skills during the Summer and then implement your learning during the 08/09 year. YME ’08 will take place July 7th through August 15th, 2008. It is open to any Bay-Area student, if you qualify as low income (or under other hardship) and will be entering 9th through 12th grades during the 2008/09 school year.
