This short video was produced in the Media Education, Arts and Literacy (MEAL) Program at Marina Middle School.
The video explores how math concepts are used in real world work settings. In this example, sixth-grade math students in Mr. Wong’s class interview the manager at the local Jamba Juice. This project incorporated media education into core math curriculum standards.
